FRESH new brand - Quiksilver Girl
Coastal welcomes Quiksilver Girl to the shop.

How does Quiksilver Girl’s product compare to Roxy and Quiksilver Women’s from a price point standpoint?
Price point wise it’s more in line with Roxy [than Quiksilver Women's]. It’s right in that mid-to-upper tier junior’s marketplace [$24-$88].
What’s the design direction and inspiration of the line?
The color story is a lot more subdued than what you’d expect from a brand like Roxy. Roxy is very colorful, bright, and energetic. The Quiksilver Girl’s line is a little bit more romantic in feel. There are some blues and greens, some chambray, gray, and some washed whites.
It’s classic in nature, which doesn’t mean it’s not on-trend, but it’s not a trendy line. It’s built around pieces that are worn and loved and you keep in your closet for a very long time.

Coastal welcomes the brand Supreme Being (born and raised in England)

A little history about the brand:
Young, obsessed with all things street culture, graphic design, art, listening to as well as creating music, snowboarding, skateboarding, clothes and as always, looking good!
This is a pretty good synopsis of the mindset & priorities of the founders of Supremebeing since the beginning - 1999.
Here is a sneak peak of some of the items we currently have at Coastal Surf Boutique:

Happy Hour this Friday July 30th - Coastal

What better pairing than swim suits and ice cream on a sunny summer afternoon!
End your week with us this Friday, July 30th and from 4-7pm we’ll give you
20% OFF all Swimwear; women’s, men’s and kids – suits, boardshorts and rashguards.

Molly Moon’s is bringing their ice cream truck again this week so come by between 2:00 and 5:00 for a scoop, or two (they just upped their butterfat content, which, let’s be honest, can only be a good thing).
As if that’s not enough, Hansen’s Natural Soda will be serving up Happy Hour drinks. Can’t wait to see what their combinations are this week!
We look forward to seeing you on Alki this Friday!
